The Jodi Murphy Instructional Series of Dog Grooming DVD's was initially produced to provide dog groomers with information necessary to advance their skill levels keeping the breed standards in mind. The dog grooming series includes pet trims, show trims as well as mixed breed trims for those trendy designer dogs. As we became more involved in this series we realized how important it is to provide all the necessary information to get started in this industry. We have now included many dvds that cater to the entry level dog groomer as well. Our "Theory & Technique" sessions describe various tools and explain how and why they are used.
This series is filmed in "real time" unedited footage. I believe in demonstrating the pet grooming process with a dog that has plenty of coat for viewers to fully benefit from the techniques shown. It is important to me to groom the dog in its entirety. This allows the viewer to see multiple angles during the entire dog grooming process.These lessons are explained in detail and done at a pace where the viewer can easily follow. My particular style is presented at a comfortable pace. The lessons are done in great detail and are very easy to understand. My goal is to educate professional dog groomers with the techniques and knowledge that I have learned over the years. Dog Groomers, for the most part, are visual learners. DVDs are a great learning tool. It is like having your own personal trainer in your living room that you can view over and over again at your convenience. It is amazing what one or two new technique can do to your finished product.
